Kid-Safe Smartphone and Tablet devices can be obtained by purchasing a compatible device from a retail shop, and we can then activate the Kid-Safe Experience for you before the device is turned on.

Please note that the Safe Surfer Kid-Safe Experience is not automatically preloaded on Samsung devices. We use a special Samsung cloud technology to prepare the Kid-Safe Experience for you. Before unboxing and turning on the device, please wait for confirmation from us, as per the following instructions. You'll get 50% off the first year of a Kid-Safe subscription (6 months free).

Purchase a compatible Samsung device yourself

Purchase any of the following compatible Samsung Galaxy devices from a New Zealand retailer:

Galaxy A06 (please note that the older Galaxy A05 model is not compatible)
Galaxy A16 5G (the older Galaxy A15 5G is also compatible)
Galaxy A25 5G
Galaxy A35 5G
Galaxy A55 5G
Anything from the Galaxy S series, or any Galaxy Tab model

Once you've bought a device, visit the Activate page to send us an activation request. Activation requests take us approximately 1–3 working days to process. Please wait for further instructions before unboxing the device and turning it on.
Once we've notified you via email that we've activated the Kid-Safe Experience for the device, we'll also send you the parent/caregiver setup guide.
