How can I purchase a Kid-Safe Smartphone or Tablet device?

The Kid-Safe Smartphone and Tablet range of devices is available from the Samsung.com website in New Zealand, or you can purchase a compatible device from a retail shop.

Please note that the Safe Surfer Kid-Safe Experience is not preloaded on Samsung devices. We use a special Samsung cloud technology to prepare the Kid-Safe Experience. Before unboxing and turning on the device, please wait for confirmation from us, as per the following instructions.

Option 1: Purchase through Samsung.com in New Zealand (recommended)



You can purchase a range of Kid-Safe devices from the official Samsung website by clicking this link. Please follow the instructions on the Samsung website regarding the checkout process.
Once you've received the device, send a photo of the serial number on the box to info@safesurfer.io so that we can activate the Kid-Safe Experience for you. (You can see an example of this below.) Please wait for further instructions before taking the device out of the box and turning it on.



Once we've notified you via email that we've activated the Kid-Safe Experience for the device, we'll also send you the parent/caregiver setup guide.

Option 2: Purchase a compatible Samsung device yourself



Purchase a Galaxy A15 5G or higher phone model (such as Galaxy A25 5G, Galaxy A35 5G etc.), or any tablet model, from any of the following retailers:

Harvey Norman
JB Hi-Fi
Noel Leeming
PB Tech
The Warehouse

Send a photo of the serial number on the box to info@safesurfer.io so that we can activate the Kid-Safe Experience for you. (You can see an example of this below.) Please wait for further instructions before taking the device out of the box and turning it on.



Once we've notified you via email that we've activated the Kid-Safe Experience for the device, we'll also send you the parent/caregiver setup guide.
