Is the Kid-Safe experience tamper-proof?
Safe Surfer's Kid-Safe experience with Samsung devices takes advantage of a Samsung technology called Knox, which enables us to provide a tamper-proof (or locked down) experience. With regard to the Knox software solution, we can provide the following functionality in addition to our normal experience for all Android phones:
Force disable the factory reset features of the device, both inside the Settings app and the hardware recovery features
Force disable the Safe mode feature (which is also blocked wherever possible in our normal experience for all Android phones)
Force disable sideloading apps (that is, attempting to manually install apps outside of an app store)
Force hide the Google Play Store and Galaxy Store apps, which are used to download apps
Force hide various other apps, such as Google Chrome, Samsung Internet, and YouTube
