Parental controls on Aussie Broadband
It’s easy with Safe Surfer to setup parental controls on Aussie Broadband. Along with protecting your privacy, we also use our own behind-the-scenes technology to block porn and other harmful online content. This guide will efficiently walk you through how to setup protection.
Step 1: Configure DNS
Enter the address 192.168.20.1 into the top search bar of a web browser (such as Google Chrome or Firefox).
Type admin into the username box. Check the bottom of your Netcomm router for a sticker containing the login password—this is different to the Wi-Fi password.
Click into the DHCP menu:
For “Primary DNS server”, type 104.197.28.121 into the text box.
For “Secondary DNS server”, type 104.155.237.225 into the text box.
Step 2: Click the Advanced Setup menu -> LAN

Verify the protection installation by visiting ExampleAdultSite.com inside a web browser. This is a safe website designated for testing if pornographic websites are being blocked. This site should be blocked.

If you are using the Linked IP option?
if you find that you're having to link the IP often, then you can pay for a static IP with Aussie Broadband for an extra $5 per month.
