Windows system requirements and notes

In certain situations, some things could interfere with your Windows protection experience. You can find out more about this as follows:

Safe Surfer doesn't support being used alongside some apps, such as most VPNs (that is, apps designed to make a device behave like it's in another country or location), and some antivirus products. By default, we attempt to block VPN apps through our filtering, as they typically try to evade filtering. During the protection installation process, the Windows app will offer to disable some Windows features to prevent even more VPNs from working. You can find out more about this by clicking this link.
Safe Surfer doesn't support Windows devices in S mode (being a very small range of devices). If you find that the the app installer doesn't work for some reason, you can find out how to check if the device is in S mode by clicking this link.
If you are reinstalling or updating the Safe Surfer app on a Windows device, and it has been approximately several months since you protected the device, it's likely that you will first need to uninstall the old app version. You can find out how to do this by clicking this link.

Once you're ready, you can close this article and continue with the setup process on the Safe Surfer dashboard.
