Why does Safe Surfer for Windows not work when using a SIM card (mobile broadband) connection on my laptop?

Some laptops (especially in the business market) feature a 4G/5G mobile broadband modem. This is very similar to the technology used to provide a cellular connection for smartphones, along with some tablets. Due to how Windows works, Safe Surfer unfortunately does not support filtering when connecting to the Internet over a mobile broadband modem. In app version 1.2.0, when protection is installed inside the app, we disable mobile broadband network adapters by default.

Safe Surfer fully supports filtering when connecting to the Internet over Wi-Fi or Ethernet. Filtering will also work correctly if the laptop connects to a mobile hotspot over Wi-Fi.
