New features for all supported devices:

Brand new interface: The Wi-Fi Lifeguard administration panel has been completely redesigned to be cleaner and easier to use. If you are on a mobile device, your Wi-Fi Lifeguard administration experience will be considerably easier than before.

Disable Wi-Fi: You can now disable Wi-Fi broadcasting. If you have a Wi-Fi Lifeguard (model GL-B1300) router, you have the option to disable the 2.4 GHz band, 5 GHz band, or both. If you have two or more Wi-Fi Lifeguard (model GL-B1300) routers in a router mesh configuration, you have the option to disable converged Wi-Fi broadcasting and wireless bands. If you disable Wi-Fi, you can still use Wi-Fi Lifeguard via Ethernet from the LAN port(s).

Advanced Wi-Fi settings: You can now change the broadcast channel(s) that Wi-Fi Lifeguard uses to broadcast. You can also now change wireless channel width settings and the wireless transmission power level. If you have a Wi-Fi Lifeguard (model GL-B1300) router, you can change advanced Wi-Fi settings for both the 2.4 GHz band and the 5 GHz band if you have not enabled a router mesh configuration.

Block VPNs: Wi-Fi Lifeguard now supports automatically blocking suspected VPN (Virtual Private Network) connection attempts originating from devices on your Wi-Fi Lifeguard network. You can access this functionality from the cog menu on the VPN Alerts page.

Set access hours and time limits over all devices at once: You can now configure access hours to be set for all devices at once. You can set these access hours for all week days at once, by each individual weekday, or for a weekend. You can also now configure time limits to be set for all devices at once.
