Use Safe Surfer via secure DNS on Firefox
We support providing Safe Surfer filtering via secure DNS on Firefox. This is a good option for individuals who need an easy alternative solution to using Safe Surfer without having to change DNS servers on a device.
If you do not have Firefox, you can download it here: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/
Open Firefox and click the menu icon at the top right.

Click Options.

Type "dns" in the search bar.

Click Settings under Network Settings

Tick Enable DNS over HTTPS

Open the Use Provider drop-down list and select Custom

Enter the following URL as the provider in the Custom text box (which will provide basic protection): https://doh.safesurfer.io

Click OK.
Once you have enabled Secure DNS in Firefox, it should now be protected with Safe Surfer. If you visit our website on a protected device, you should see the following widget at the top of the home page:
