How to uninstall the Safe Surfer for iOS app

This guide will show you how to uninstall the Safe Surfer for iOS app.

This guide shows uninstallation of the Safe Surfer app. If this device was protected with a Safe Surfer DNS profile (that is, without an app), you can find the profile uninstallation guide by clicking this link.

Step 1: Disable Screen Time settings



Tap the Settings app.



Tap the Screen Time menu.



Tap the Content & Privacy Restrictions menu.



Tap the switch found next to Content & Privacy Restrictions, then enter your Screen Time passcode.

If you still wish to keep these restrictions applied, you can simply navigate to iTunes and App Store Purchases > Deleting Apps, tap Allow, then go back to the Screen Time main menu to save the changes. You can then skip to step 2.



Tap the back button to save the changes.



Step 2: Uninstall the Safe Surfer app



Go back to the home screen, then find the Safe Surfer app. Long-press the app icon, then tap Remove App. Tap Delete App.



Uninstallation complete



You have now successfully uninstalled Safe Surfer from this device. You can also remove the listing for this device on the Safe Surfer dashboard Devices menu by clicking the three-dot button on the applicable device listing, then click the Delete option.
