We support providing Safe Surfer filtering via secure DNS on Firefox. This is a good option for individuals who need an easy alternative solution to using Safe Surfer without having to change DNS servers on a device.
1. Download Firefox
If you do not have Firefox, you can download it here: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/
2. Configure DoH
Open Firefox and click the menu icon at the top right.

Click Options.

Type "dns" in the search bar.

Click Settings under Network Settings

Tick Enable DNS over HTTPS

Open the Use Provider drop-down list and select Custom

Enter the following URL as the provider in the Custom text box: https://dns.safesurfer.io:8443/822fcc7b-0d5b-4947-b54e-2424619bac6d

Click OK.
Once you have performed the above two steps, your Firefox browser should now be protected with Safe Surfer. You can check your device status by visiting the Safe Surfer website (https://www.safesurfer.co.nz).
