This uninstallation guide is intended for Macs manufactured since late 2020. If you didn't use the Safe Surfer Mac app to install protection, you can view the correct guide by clicking this link.

Uninstall the Safe Surfer app

Open the System Settings app, then click the General menu on the left-hand sidebar. Open the Login Items & Extensions menu, then under the App Background Activity section, turn off the switch found next to Safe Surfer Ltd.

Click the Privacy & Security menu on the left-hand sidebar, then open the Screen & System Audio Recording menu. Highlight the Safe Surfer Helper listing, then click the "–" button to remove it.

Click the General menu on the left-hand sidebar, then open the Device Management menu. Click the Unenrol button on the MDM Enrollment listing.

Once the profiles have been removed, you'll need to restart the Mac before continuing.

After restarting the Mac, open the Finder app, then click the Applications menu on the left-hand side. Find the Safe Surfer app listing, then drag it to the Bin on the dock.
