Changing parental controls for Facebook is easy. This guide will efficiently walk you through how to do so. It's good to keep in mind that this filtering is provided by Facebook's automated system, so we have no control over any content that appears.

Reduce content

Open the Facebook app, then tap the three-bar icon at the upper-right corner.



Tap the Settings cog icon at the upper-right corner.



Under the Preferences section, tap the News Feed menu.



Tap the Reduce menu.



In this menu, there are three categories of content that we can mark to be reduced. Tap the Low-quality content category.



Tap the Reduce more option, then tap the OK button. Once you've done this, tap the back button at the upper-left corner to go back to the previous menu.



Tap the Unoriginal content and problematic sharing category.



Tap the Reduce more option, then tap the OK button. Once you've done this, tap the back button at the upper-left corner to go back to the previous menu.



Tap the Sensitive content category.



Tap the Reduce more option, then tap the OK button.

Setup complete
