How to hide Safe Surfer for Android on the Home and Apps screens
As a parent/caregiver, in certain situations you might like to hide the Safe Surfer for Android app on the Home and Apps screens. The Safe Surfer app will still be fully installed and operational on the device—this just hides the app from being listed on the Home and Apps screens.
We demonstrate hiding the Safe Surfer for Android app on a Samsung phone running Android 14 (released in 2023). These steps should look similar for other device manufacturers.
Open the Settings app, then tap the Home screen menu.
Tap the Hide apps on Home and Apps screens menu.
Tap the checkbox found next to the Safe Surfer app listing.
Tap the Done button at the bottom of the screen. The Safe Surfer app will now be hidden on the Home and Apps screens.
