How can I enable Private DNS mode in Safe Surfer for Android?

By default, Safe Surfer for Android uses a VPN-based protection connection. If you would prefer to use Private DNS instead (for example, if you need the device's VPN available, or an app on the device requires the device's VPN feature to be inactivate), you can use Private DNS mode instead.

If you have a device that is not manufactured by Google, Samsung, ASUS, or similar, and you see a blue button inside the Safe Surfer app offering to install permanent mode, you can find out how to do this instead by clicking this link.

Install Private DNS mode

Open the Safe Surfer app, then tap the three-dot button at the upper-right corner.

Tap the App settings menu.

Tap the Enable Private DNS mode option.

Scroll down the instructions, then tap the Copy link button.

Tap the search icon / bar.

Search for "private dns", then tap the Private DNS listing.

Tap the Private DNS menu.

Tap the third option. This will be labelled "Private DNS provider hostname" or similar.

Paste the protection connection link into the text box.

Tap the Save option.

Within a few seconds, you should see the protection connection link listed as the subtitle of the Private DNS menu.

Back inside the Safe Surfer app, the installation button will become hidden, signifying that you have successfully installed permanent mode.
