How to uninstall Safe Surfer on a Chromebook

This guide will show you how to uninstall Safe Surfer on a Chromebook device.

Uninstall the Safe Surfer protection



Click the Launcher button at the lower-left corner, then click the Settings app.



Click the Privacy and security section on the left-hand sidebar.



Click the drop-down box found next to Select DNS provider, then click the Network default option.



The drop-down box should now be set to Network default. You can now close out of the Settings app.



If you set any parental controls for the Google Play app, you can disable these by clicking the Launcher button on the left-hand side of the shelf (that is, the taskbar) > Play Store app > click the profile icon at the upper-right corner > Settings > Family > Parental controls > click the switch and enter your PIN > OK.

Uninstallation complete



You have now successfully uninstalled Safe Surfer from this device. You can also remove the listing for this device on the Safe Surfer dashboard Devices menu by clicking the three-dot button on the applicable device listing, then click the Delete option.
