# Why is my Safe Surfer subscription labelled as "Promo"?

Your Safe Surfer subscription will be labelled as "Promo" if you've started using Safe Surfer with just [Kid-Safe devices](https://helpdesk.safesurfer.io/en-nz/category/kid-safe-experience-1kmc5bx/). The Promo label will be removed automatically once the period has ended.

The Promo subscription can't add additional normal devices (that is, other kinds of devices you might like to protect) unless you have an accompanying Pro Surfer subscription. If you would like to add Pro Surfer to your account, you can do this by visiting the Devices menu (https://my.safesurfer.io/devices) > select a user > click the "Create device" button > click the option to add Pro Surfer. Outside of this, if you need to manage your subscription settings specifically, you can do this by visiting the Subscription menu (https://staging.my.safesurfer.io/account-settings?section=payment).
