# Reset my Safe Surfer app PIN on Windows

This article will show you how to reset the PIN for the Safe Surfer Windows app.

# Reset Safe Surfer Windows app PIN

Open the Safe Surfer app on the protected device, then click the Reset option.

On the login page, click the "Email me a sign-in code" button.

||| If you've updated your account email address since Safe Surfer was installed, you can manually specify the new email address in the Email field. If you can't remember your account password (and don't have access to the email address you used to log in to the app), the only way to reset the PIN is to switch your account email. Please send us an email to info@safesurfer.io and we can help you further. In addition, please note that if the Safe Surfer account used to protect this device has been deleted, the PIN reset feature won't work, as the account no longer exists in our cloud system.

Enter a new PIN, then click the OK button.

Once you have changed the PIN, you will now be able to fully access the app.
