# Reset my Safe Surfer app PIN on Android

This article will show you how to reset the PIN for the Safe Surfer Android app.

# Reset Safe Surfer Android app PIN

Open the Safe Surfer app, then tap the Reset option on the PIN screen.

Enter the password for the Safe Surfer account used to install protection, then tap the "Log in" button.

||| If you've updated your account email address since Safe Surfer was installed, you can manually specify the new email address in the Email field. If you can't remember your account password (and don't have access to the email address you used to log in to the app), the only way to reset the PIN is to switch your account email. Please send us an email to [info@safesurfer.io](mailto:info@safesurfer.io) and we can help you further. In addition, please note that if the Safe Surfer account used to protect this device has been deleted, the PIN reset feature won't work, as the account no longer exists in our cloud system.

Set a new PIN, then tap the OK option. Once you've done this, you can now use the new PIN to unlock the Safe Surfer app.
