# How can I hide an Android app on the Home and App screens without blocking it?

As a parent/caregiver, in certain situations you might like to hide various Android apps without uninstalling them. This can be useful to reduce the use of apps while still having them functional if needed. Each app will still be functional—this just hides them from being listed on the Home and Apps screens.
